About Africelerate
Celebrating and Accelerating African Entrepreneurship
Who are we?
Africelerate is a network of acceleration services providing support to African-founded startups or Africa focused startups with a positive impact on the African continent.
Our goal is to link African start-ups with global business opportunities and INTEGRATE them into the ecosystems they need
to thrive, scale and and succeed.
We recognize how strong support structures outside of funding, such as: exposure to information; access to a powerful and stable business network, strategic partnerships, incubation opportunities, acceleration services, and coaching - all form part of a growth enabling climate for start-ups.
How to participate?
If you are a start-up in ideation phase or further, we are looking for you !
Successful applications will be reviewed and selected to pitch at the first Africelerate Pitch Event on 11 January 2020 in Shanghai, China!
Stand a chance to win 50 000 RMB investment with no equity or interest and other amazing acceleration services such as coaching, mentoring and registration assistance.

Are you an African StartUp in China
or someone who's passionate about making an impact in Africa?
We are in search of the best start-ups across all industries that are making a positive impact on the continent to pitch their innovation to an audience of international investors in January 2020 in Shanghai.
Entry Criteria: Your start-up has to:
1. Operate to the benefit of the African continent or operating in Africa
OR
2. Be an African StartUp operating in China or Africa
Submission deadline is December 31st 2019. All successful candidates will be notified by January 5th.
Application fee is 150 RMB which grants automatic entry to the Africelerate Pitch Event for an evening of networking with global players.
